“Au Boulot” means “let’s get to work” in French. Au Boulot is a concept brand that sources and supplies original French workwear garments, all hand-picked and up-cycled to create a unique, gender-neutral look. Each piece has been individually customized, and we hope that you will continue to up-cycle and personalize them yourselves over the years for a fashionable, timeless, and sustainable look that lasts throughout the seasons.
LEAD DESIGNER (FREELANCE), DECOR LOS ANGELES, C.A — 2020 - 2021
Interpreted concepts from big ideas to broken individual stories and developed ideas within each sub-group. Shopped within budget for relevant samples, and directed the team on inspiration shopping. Gave the design team specific buckets to research and shop for as well as helped narrow downtrend research into cohesive groups by category. Identified white space in the collection by season as well as the brand. Presented sketches and ideas to Creative Director.
DESIGN DIRECTOR, COMUNE LOS ANGELES, C.A — 2019 - 2020
In partnership with and reporting to SVP of Merchandising, my responsibility was in planning and setting the strategic vision of the design team for all apparel categories. This includes defining, interpreting, and driving the creative direction (design, color, and prints) for seasonal product assortment in apparel.

Responsible for providing global vision and business strategy for my department. Provided a Line building function for the team, inclusive of product recommendations, recommended retail pricing, and production-ready products. Maintained strong business partnerships with merchandising leadership teams to drive the brand's business strategy. Selected, trained, motivated, and evaluated the entire staff and was responsible for employee development and retention. In conjunction with Design counterparts, responsible for visualizing and determining the strategic direction of the business and accountable for growing the business and seeking opportunities to positively affect the division.
